Power Platform - PayGo not required with Self-Service Disaster Recovery (SSDR)

🚨 The Signal: Power Platform Self-Service Disaster Recovery (SSDR) no longer requires a Pay-As-You-Go plan. This change simplifies enabling critical business continuity for Power Platform environments, improving resilience against regional outages without additional licensing overhead.

The Action

  1. Sign in to the Power Platform admin center as a system administrator.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Manage, then Environments.
  3. Select the production environment where you want to turn on self-service disaster recovery.
  4. Select Disaster Recovery in the command bar at the top of the page.
  5. Select the checkbox to turn on Disaster Recovery, then Save.
